This is a really neat design for a teapot that I've been wanting since it first appeared in 2002.Introducing the Globo teapot from republicoftea.com. It was 75$, but is now a special price at republicoftea.com for $35.99. You put loose tea in the strainer, pur in some hot water, and tilt it back on its handle to steep. When it's finished all you have to do it tilt it forward and the brewing will stop. Then you can feel free to enjoy and discuss how cool & sauvy you are. This seemingly simple idea is the brainchild of Thomas G. Wagner and Dirk Loff, the pair behind Delphin Design who received an iF award for German design in 2002. This would make an great gift for any body who is into tea.
